Hey THXjay, thanks for all the Bond soundtracks. I own most of them anyway, but there are couple here I'd probably never invest in, so it's really nice to hear them and make the comparisons. good on you!
I know what you mean, Michael Kamen isn't exactly John Barry is he :)
Although I personally think that Timothy Dalton was an excellent Bond and The Living Daylights is one of the best (in my opinion), this one however was a low point in the series :(
Your covers are criminally good and make the official ones look anaemic. We should petition for you to get the gig when the discs get re-issued one day. Just one thing: "License" should be spelt the British way, "Licence".
I agree 100% on the spelling of "Licence" but that was taken from the US poster art. I had to re-create most of the text on the titles but that was one of the few that I had good quality original (hence the spelling) to work with.
Glad you like them and thanks for the very kind words.
I'm constantly surprised at the great feedback on these, especially as I literally put these ALL together from scratch in a week. As I've said elsewhwere I had been planning a Bond collection for a while then all of a sudden the year of Bond (2007) was coming to an end and I had to rush these into "production" very quickly to get them posted before the end of 2"007".
In the end they just came together really quickly and it turned out I had time to spare.....I guess that's what happens when you put your mind to something :)
